Golf Product Update - Burglar

MSL’s Golf Product and R&D team have been working hard over recent months to bring its golf venue customers several new features focusing on the member experience.

MSL Scoring App

The eagerly anticipated MSL smartphone scoring app is MSL’s digital companion to PPG – our flagship Golf Management System. Offering clubs and golfers an alternative to paper-based scorecard printing and scanning in favour of a simple and intuitive digital experience to enter competitions, select your playing partner and enter scores live on course.

We are now well into the beta test stage, putting the app into the hands of golfers in multiple real-life competitions in Queensland and New South Wales. This important stage will ensure the app delivers the features that will allow the golfer to focus on their round and bring the golf club benefits through less manual processes and a smooth, more seamless golf operations setup.

Feedback from golfers has been very positive so far

“It was great, can’t wait until it’s in full-time use.”

“Thank you for the opportunity to test the MSL Scoring App… the app worked well without any problems.”

“I experienced no issues with the App – it was easy to use… and it posted my score on the leaderboard – so all is good with me!”

MSL will be looking to a pre-Christmas launch for the scoring app. If you are interested in getting further information, please contact the MSL sales team.

Tee Booking enhancements

Golf is booming and competition for tee times at clubs can be very intense. To help clubs meet this demand, MSL has been improving the tee booking experience for members using their club booking portal. We know from real-world feedback and analysis that this work has significantly improved the performance of tee bookings at peak demand times and delivered a better experience for clubs and their members. We’ll continue to make further updates that deliver a faster, more reliable service for periods of peak demand.

The team has also turned their attention to the user interface and user experience of our tee booking screens and implemented several practical improvements. Recent and soon to be released tee bookings have been brought to the top of the timesheet list and we’re making better use of colour to communicate availability of tee times and to deliver a more modern and fresh look and feel.

We look forward to introducing these changes over the coming weeks so that regardless of device, a golfer has a rewarding, effortless experience using your club’s tee booking sheet.
