MSL have collaborated with Golf Australia and the European Disabled Golfers Association (EDGA) to integrate disability classifications into Australia’s World Handicap Solution – GOLFLink. This work will allow Australian golfers with a disability to prove their eligibility for the allowances provided to them under the 2023 Rules of Golf.
Every four years, golf’s governing bodies – the USGA and the R&A – decide on rule amendments. From 1 January 2023, there will be regulations that permit certain allowances for golfers with disabilities. These include considerations for golfers who are blind, golfers who are amputees, golfers with intellectual disabilities and those who use assistive mobility devices.
