MSL’s GolfBox Tournament provided live scoring for the 2023 Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship (AMOTA). Played over four days, the AMOTA is the highest-ranking amateur golf event in Australia. It was the first year at Southern Golf Club, a beautiful course located in southeast Melbourne.

Congratulations to Yuna Araki (JPN) and John Gough (ENG) on their wins at the 2023 Women’s and Men’s Championship and securing the coveted ‘green jacket’. They outperformed a strong field of international players, comprising 54 women and 102 men, finishing with a total score of -12 to Par, 280 and -15 to Par, 273 (respectively).

Throughout the event, volunteer scorers on the course used mobile devices to enter scores after each hole through the easy-to-use web interface. As a cloud-based system, GolfBox Tournament runs in any browser without the need for further applications or expensive hardware.

Scores were instantly available on the live leaderboard and displayed on clubhouse screens, live-streamed online, and shared via national associations and academies. GolfBox also provides player and course data that can be reported on and shared.

Players and staff were constantly kept in the loop throughout the tournament, with updates and draws sent-out via automated emails and text messages.

Acknowledged and used by the R&A and EGA, GolfBox Tournament has all the features you will ever need to pull off a world-class tournament. Whether you host a small private event or a professional tour, GolfBox Tournament is the administration suite of choice.
